Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. My mama helped me come up with a fun and spooky craft to celebrate my favorite holiday. We got together a few simple supplies, 20 cotton swabs, glue, scissors, a marker, and one bright orange paper and one white paper.
My mama started by cutting the tips of 5 cotton swabs. These will serve as the fingers for our spooky skeleton.
Here are the tips of the cotton swabs that we will use for skeleton fingers, bwah, ha, ha!
My mama helped me put glue on the cotton swabs, this could be tricky for small hands.
With my mamas help, we glued down 6 cotton swabs onto the orange piece of paper. Can you guess what part of the skeleton this is?
Now for the rest of the skeletal body. For the arms we used 2 cotton swabs on each side and added the fingers. We also glued down the legs using two cotton swabs on each side.
While we were letting the cotton swabs dry a bit, my mama drew a spooky skeleton head.
I started to cut out the skeleton head, while my mama added the rest of the fingers and the feet to the skeleton.
Here is my spooky cotton swab skeleton. I am going to hang it on the front door…trick or treaters BEWARE!
